The Goose and Cuckoo is a remote pub located on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park in south Wales. The pub has great beer on a sunny day you can see for miles. It's so far away from civilisation that all you can usually hear are the sheep. You can read a full review and view more photos on Travels with Beer.

The Skirrid Inn, Llanvihangel Crucorney is Wales' oldest inn and was first mentioned in 1110 when a man was hanged there for stealing sheep. Legend has it that up to 180 people may have been hanged there when the pub was also being used as a court. You can read more about the pub and view more photos over at Travels with Beer.
