Hair of the Dog is a brewery and tasting room near the eastern side of the Willamette River in downtown Portland, OR. The brewery was established in 1993 and is known for Fred, its complex barleywine made from ten hop varieties from fiver different countries.

Rogue Ales Public House, originally named the Bayfront Brewery, was established in May of 1989. Rogue brewed its beers there until 1992 when the operation was moved across the bay. When I visited in September 2011 I spent around 6 hours at the pub drinking great beer, eating good food and meeting interesting people. Good times.

The Mendocino Brewing Co., Ale House was opened in June 2011 after relocating from nearby Hopland where the brewery was originally based. You can view more photos and read a review on Travels with Beer.

Just some of the 160 taps available at the Taphouse Grill, Seattle. Beers from all over the world are featured including many unusual and hard to find on draught beers.

Part of the wall of tap handles at Belmont Station in Portland, OR. Belmont Station consists of a biercafé serving around 15 more uncommon beers and an adjoining shop selling over 1000+ bottles.

Spotted in Bailey's Taproom in Portland, this has to be the best beer board ever. It contains lots of information about each beer including colour of beer, style of glass used and how much beer is left in each keg.
