The Victory brewpub in Hereford, England is unique in that its bar is contained within a large galleon that comes complete with cannons. Owned by the Hereford Brewery (previously called the Spinning Dog Brewery), the galleon dates back to a refit from the early 90s when the pub was owned by the Jolly Roger Brewery. Simpson's Tavern is a traditional English Chop House that has stood on this site since 1757. Tucked away in a narrow alleyway, the premises were originally built as two houses in the late 17th century and then converted into a chop house and coffee shop. Coincidentally, it is a stones throw from where the first coffee shop in London was located. Located near the Bank of England, tourists are few and far between and like every other pub in the area, it is closed on Weekends. Predominently a restaurant, there is also a small bar selling two ales.

Ettaler

Ettaler Curator Doppelbock. A fantastically yummy beer. Be sure to check out the brewery history here. Picture taken late at night at the Tap and Mallet in Rochester, NY.

Scene from a local Beer Advocate tasting. We don't fear carbonation.

View from a beer drinkers perspective. Do not recall which beer this was, but it was during a Belgian beer tasting. Title stolen from Peter Gabriel. Beautiful lacing on the glass.
