We have many great local businesses that cater to the craft beer scene here in Rochester. One of those is Nathaniel Square Corner Store in the South Wedge. NSCS is located next door to John's Tex Mex, which also serves a great craft beer selection. Not in the mood for Mexican? NSCS serves up fantastic breakfasts and lunches. Yes we've already featured the glory that is Tripel Karmeliet on Beer Lens before. Having another glass of it recently, I was compelled to take this shot to show off both the nicely done logo and what a glass of this fantastic beer looks like when the head settles.

Everyone loves a Hook Norton beer...even my cat. She loves to eat all my favourite foods so it's really no surprise that she is showing interest in one of my favourite breweries. This was a Hook Norton Double Stout. Unfortunately I had to pay highly inflated prices to get this beer here in the states.

My friends toast to the goodness that is Genny Bock. Who doesn't love the can design on these? You know spring is on the way when you find Genny Bock on the shelves.

Scene from the Victoria Inn in Mumbles,Swansea. Maybe she was sad because they didn't have her favorite beer on? This is a great pub and the landlady is lovely. Definitely worth a stop if you are in Mumbles and right around the corner from my favorite Mumbles pub the Park Inn. The pub also features a Victorian well inside.

Five good selections from one of my favorite local bars. Featuring a local beer, Genny Cream Ale, as well as a beer most of us wait all year for...Nugget Nectar. At Acme on Saturdays every draft, bottle and well is 2 for 1. Can't beat that deal.

Y Mochyn Du is a welsh speaking pub in Cardiff with a great selection of real ale. The name means The Black Pig. They also have a huge selection of wines available.

The Pear Tree Inn in Banbury. Look at those lovely hops that decorate the bar. This is a Hook Norton pub and is within walking distance of the brewery. Did I mention Hook Norton has turned into my favorite brewery? I blame the Peels
