Just a small selection of the many beers that the excellent Harp pub in London has sold. The entire top part of the bar is covered in hundreds of pump clips.

Are these typically made out of cardboard like Coasters in the US? Or are some a thin metal?
The vast majority are made of cardboard. If a beer is more permanent then it may be made of metal or sometimes china
The ones you see here are mostly printed on plastic of some sort but with some metal ones. You can see the white plastic back to the Dark Star clip that’s coming off (bottom right). Cardboard ones would not last long in a working environment like that.
China (or ceramic) ones are very hard to find now, but the Harp pub does still have one of the original Harveys Sussey Best ceramic clips in use.
Bridget who runs the Harp also has two carrier bags full of clips in the cellar for the more regular guest ales.
This is a great pub. I was there last setember.
I posted about my visit in my beer blog.
