The Clachan is a Victorian pub located in London's West End near Oxford Circus and Regent Street. Originally called the Bricklayers, the pub was built in 1898 and used to be owned by the nearby Liberty department store. They sold the pub in 1983 and it now belongs to the Nicholson's chain of pubs. As well as a fabiulous interior, the pub features a good selection of ales. The Crosse Keys is a JD Wetherspoon pub located near Leadenhall Market in the City of London. The building was originally the headquarters of the Hong King and Shanghai Bank (HSBC) and dates from 1919. It is named after an old coaching inn that used to be located nearby. It was converted into a Wetherspoon pub in 1999. The pub features an impressive selection of ales for a Wetherspoon pub (up to 24 handpumps). The simple but well stocked bar at The Castle in Holborn, London. 8 ales are always available from a range of breweries including some smaller ones. The present building dates from 1901 but there are records of a pub being on the site as far back as 1541.
