57 Thomas Street is a small bar located in the Northern Quarter in Manchester. It's owned by the Marble Brewery and features a few ales served directly from casks in stillages on the bar as well as a good selection of foreign bottled beers.

For gods sake man, stop taking such beautiful photos, you’re putting the rest of our blogs (and iPhone photos) to shame!
I was actually sitting at the end of the table and the preview screen was still on the camera. Looked like it could be a good shot for Beer Lens and it turned out well.
and modest to boot. keep up the good work mate
Great photographs – love all the pictures (especially as I am living in Estonia and we don’t have the luxury of many traditional pubs). However, I do have a bit of a gripe (harsh word..suggestion is better) – can you take pictures of the pubs when they have people in them? Many of your pictures show a wonderful pub, but it’s normally empty, which gives it a cold feeling, or just has a solitary figure sitting at the table, which makes the picture look quite lonely. As we know, a pub full of people makes a wonderfully warm and socialable place, and I think the pictures would convey this.
That’s a valid point and you aren’t the first person to mention it. I like to take photos that have some architectural significance and want people to view the pubs without people obscuring parts of the pub. That said, I do agree that people make pubs and I had a conversation with someone on the very same day as I took this photo and he mentioned it too.
I usually visit pubs early in the day so that I can take shots without getting in the way of people and it allows me to chat with the staff about each pub. As many pubs tend to be a bit dark so it’s difficult to take shots containing people without them appearing blurry. I don’t carry a tripod with me and I don’t want to set the ISO so high that I lose too much quality.
