The Glue Pot is a Grade-II listed pub located near the old Great Western railway works in Swindon, England. The pub dates back to the mid 19th century when it was originally three storey house and shop. The pub gets it’s unique name from the railway coachbuilders who would bring their gluepots with them when they took their breaks and would place their pots on the central stove to keep them hot. The post in the middle of the picture is where the stove would have been located.
