Crown and Sugarloaf, London » Crown and Sugarloaf

The Crown and Sugarloaf is a tiny one room Samuel Smith pub located in the City of London. The pub has a beautiful Victorian interior and a rather interesting history. The pub used to be much larger and was owned by both Samuel Smith and Bass. The two companies had a disagreement and ultimately the pub was split in two. Samuel Smith had a small bar at the rear of the pub and Bass had the larger front part of the pub. The other pub still exists today and is called the Punch Tavern. It's nowhere near as grand as the Crown and Sugarloaf.
