A lone drinker on a quiet Monday evening at the Murenger pub in Newport, South Wales. The pub is very dark so I had to set the camera to 3200 ISO.

I wonder if this lack of Customers has anything to do with the Facebook Campaign to Boycott Sam Smiths pubs as a result of their stance on a Regimental Cypher used (with Regimental permission) on a competitors product???
I do hope so, I think injured servicemen/women come before any corporate profits (or the percieved loss of).
Whatever the politics may be, these “lone drinker” shots always intrigue me. They always seem very dignified, yet melancholy.
Great shot, this one. Absolutely classic British pub, and the guy in the corner with his face obscured by the pint-glass looks like some sort of Ghost of Drinkers Past.
Great shot. Great pub. Great beer.
