The Skirrid Inn – Wales’ Oldest Inn

The Skirrid Inn, Llanvihangel Crucorney is Wales' oldest inn and was first mentioned in 1110 when a man was hanged there for stealing sheep. Legend has it that up to 180 people may have been hanged there when the pub was also being used as a court. You can read more about the pub and view more photos over at Travels with Beer.
