I love the effort that The Feathers pub near Buckingham Palace has put into this beer blackboard. It was quite high up on a wall so I had to use Photoshop to correct the perspective.

I Wish I had a pub with a cool blackboard like this near me… although big, colourfull boards stuffed with dozens of beer names such as ones seen in Belgium are very fascinating too…
Is it common to see nothing at or above 5% ABV?
It’s not very common to see beers above 5.5%. A lot of beer on sale in pubs is between 3.5-5.5%.
Relatively recently, Old Speckled Hen was reduced in strength in casks to 4.5% to try and encourage people to drink more of it.
